Job DescriptionAre you an expereinced Plant Fitter? Are you a Mechanical Fitter who has experience with Heavy Engineering, HGV, Ground Care, Forklifts, Plant or similar? If any of this applies, this could be the role for youThis Plant Fitter role is working for a company in Portsmouth. The role is standard day shifts, Monday to Friday. The role is fully onsite. This Plant Fitter role is paying up to £38,000 depending on experience. There is an annual bonus scheme and plenty of overtime available.This Plant Fitter role will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on construction and heavy plant equipment. The role will involve carrying out routine servicing in line with manufacturer schedules, monitoring and topping up fluids, and performing preventative safety checks. You will also be required to identify, report and resolve faults promptly, fitting and replacing parts as required. The successful Plant Fitter will also need to clean, inspect and prepare machinery for redeployment or transfer. The role will involve working independently and collaboratively on larger repair projects, ensuring equipment is safe, operational and maintained to high standards.You will need:Previous experience with mechanical and plant equipmentExperience diagnosing faults and performing required maintenanceFull Valid UK Driving LicenseA relevant NVQ is desirableThe ability to obtain and pass Security ClearanceIf you are interested in this role and think you have the skills and experience this company are looking for then APPLY NOW.
