Contract Hardware Engineer – Medical Devices (ISO 13485) Location: South Wales (hybrid on-site) Start: ASAP Sector: MedTech Project: Supporting a programme that has hit delays — now accelerating deliveryMy client is looking for a Hardware Engineer to support ongoing development work and help drive a delayed project back on track. You'll be working closely with Systems, R&D, and QMS teams to keep timelines moving.What you'll be doing: • Requirements capture • Schematic + PCB design • Final verification procedures & reporting • Working hands-on within an ISO 13485 QMS • Supporting cross-functional engineering activitiesWhat they're looking for: • Strong electronics/PCB background (Altium or similar) • Experience in regulated product development (MedTech preferred) • Solid verification & documentation capability • Someone who can work pragmatically on-site with their teamContract: • 6+ months (expected) • Competitive hourly rate • Outside IR35 • Hybrid on-site in Wales (regular presence required)If you're a hardware specialist who enjoys hands-on development in a regulated environment, apply and I'll contact you next week.
