This position is for 10 hours per week across 5 days working in the evening or early morning.Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience and experience in cleaning a childcare setting would be beneficial but not essential.Nursery Cleaner main duties and responsibilities*:\tMaintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.\tAdhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.\tAlways meet health and safety and environmental health requirements*Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.Nursery Cleaner requirements and skills:\tFluent in written and spoken English – essential.\tKnowledge of cleaning processes and COSH – desirable\tOver 1 year’s experience of working as a cleaner – desirable.We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts.
