With a track record of spotting opportunities, understanding the market and driving innovative solutions, we deliver a reliable service which reduces the impact on the environment of our clients' waste, whilst creating cost-effective and reliable waste management outcomes which encourage a greener business acumen.About the role:To drive Company dustcarts for the collection and emptying of customer waste bins and sacks.Duties and Responsibilities:Complete all daily vehicle checks and fill out the Vehicle Defect sheet at the start and end of each shiftEnsure all CCTV cameras are functional and inward-facing cameras are positioned correctly before starting workReport defects, including tyre issues, to the Fleet OfficeComplete all assigned tasks within the working daySubmit all paperwork accurately and on timeMaintain regular communication with the Fleet Office, reporting any issues or incidents immediatelyRefuel vehicles upon returning to the yard or depotAttend end-of-day debriefing with the Fleet Office for advice on the next day's workSecure all loads to prevent waste or debris from falling during transitWear the required PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and Countrystyle sitesReport all accidents and incidents immediately to the Fleet Office or Compliance Team and obtain necessary detailsTake responsibility for your own health and safety and that of othersCooperate with company management systems, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safe work practices and legal requirementsAbout you:Essential:Good communication skillsAbility to prioritise workload to meet deadlinesCustomer Service skills2 years HGV driving experienceHGV Class 2 licenceCurrent CPC and digi-tachoDesirable:Previous experience driving dustcartsWork within the waste management industryBenefits:Life Insurance with access to GP24Commitment to wellbeing through Employee Assistance ProgrammeElectric Car salary sacrifice scheme for eligible employeesCycle to work schemeCompany EventsGymFlex salary sacrificePlease click the APPLY button to submit your CV for this roleCandidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Class 2 LGV Driver, Class 2 Drivers, Fork Lift Truck Operator, HGV Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, Driver, Class I Driver, Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver may also be considered for this role.JBRP1_UKTJ
