We want you on our team.About the Role This is a permanent night shift position, with initial day shift training. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across a variety of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs, with a focus on electrical systemsDiagnose and repair faults in electrical, automation, and control systemsSupport mechanical maintenance when requiredWork closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtimeMaintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety standardsRequirementsProven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong electrical knowledge including control panels, motors, PLCs, and fault findingAbility to assist with mechanical maintenance as neededWillingness to work permanent night shifts after trainingFlexibility to complete initial training on day shiftsStrong problem-solving skills and commitment to safe working practicesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: £43,000 during day shift training, increasing to £53,000 on nightsSecure, long-term role within a well-established manufacturing businessOngoing development and technical training opportunitiesSupportive team environmentShift PatternPermanent nights after trainingTraining on day shifts
