Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV Driverto join our team.The successful candidate will be operating a Skip Lorry and/or a Roll on Roll off Lorry.Experience in one or more listed vehicle is required.Pay Equivalent from £14.31 PHOvertime after 45 hours at £20 PHPaid BreaksOvertime Pay and weekend work readily availableResponsibilitiesTo use the vehicle safely and efficiently whilst driving, loading, unloading or tippingTo work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, management systems and regulations, e.g. ensuring you use the required PPE at all timesTo communicate effectively with Weighbridge and Yard team members, line managers and DirectorsTo adhere to delivery schedules and routes as planned by the transport manager, and to report any problems faced during your routeTo represent the company in a respectful and courteous manner when dealing with customers, clients and contractorsTo stay compliant with tacho in respect to EU driving hours and the working time directiveTo ensure your vehicle is well looked after, ensure your daily vehicle walk around checks are completed and any defects are reportedTo drive safely during busy traffic periods, in adverse weather conditions or at nightTo support and drive Continuous Professional Development as required by the company and partake as required.RequirementsSkip/ RORO ExperienceHGV Class 2 LicenceGood driving record with no major violations or accidents, applicants with more than 6 penalty points cannot be considered.If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for driving, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Driver at Eco-Power Skips.**Agencies, please do not contact us regarding this position.
