Job DescriptionField Installation and Service EngineerJob Type: Permanent Location: Home Based Midlands - Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Stafford, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Rugby, WarwickPost Code: B1 1QU Salary: £35,000 + Overtime + Benefits + Van (Annual earnings £40k-£45k and rising over time)Start Date: ASAPGlobal leader in electronic control systems for cranes and heavy machinery are looking to recruit a Field Installation and Service Engineer.We will consider a fully experienced engineer with extensive experience in Heavy Equipment control systems or a less experienced, newly qualified apprentice with solid commercial experience working for a manufacturer of Cranes, Construction Equipment or other Heavy Equipment. Full training will be given.Suitability Checklist (please ensure you meet the requirements of the attached checklist before applying)To be considered for this role you;Must be able to pass basic security clearance / criminal background checkHave the ability to be certified physically and medically fit for offshore workBe comfortable working at heightHave a valid driving licenseBe comfortable working from home and have access to a dedicated home officeHave a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally on occasionBe comfortable with occasional extended periods away from home Your role will be to support our growth in the UK and internationallyInstall and service electronic safety systems on cranes, trucks, and heavy equipmentProvide technical support to customers and internal teamsTrain operators and mechanics on-siteEnsure all technical and admin documentation is completedTravel occasionally across Europe and overseas What we're looking forExperience in crane and construction machinery control systems.Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical circuitsAutonomous, detail-oriented and customer-focusedValid passport and driver's licenceFluent in English (French is a plus)Competent IT user - MS Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel The role will suit individuals currently working as Field Installation and Service Engineer, Repair Engineer, Installation Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Crane Engineer, and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Stafford, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Rugby, Warwick or be willing to relocate.Please forward your CV by clicking Apply Now
