Job DescriptionMy client is a Top 30 professional services firm with a dedicated business services team that provides outsourced accounting and administrative support to clients in the financial services sector, including FCA regulated businesses. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the team.The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, producing management accounts and statutory reports, reviewing VAT returns, and supporting junior staff development. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and clients to ensure high-quality, compliant accounting services, while also contributing to team training and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare management accounts and statutory financial statements• Manage and review VAT returns, including partial exemption• Supervise and support junior staff and trainees• Maintain and develop strong client relationships• Recommend improvements to client systems and controls• Support senior staff with pitches and client meetingsWhat You'll Need:• ACA or ACCA qualified• Experience preparing statutory and management accounts• Solid understanding of UK GAAP, especially FRS 102• Strong communication and client-facing skills• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks (desirable)• Financial services sector experience preferredShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
