Job DescriptionEmployment Solicitor (2+ years') – Edinburgh A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor to join a well-regarded Employment team based in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of advisory work, tribunal matters and client-facing responsibility within a supportive and collaborative environment.The Opportunity:You will work across a broad range of employment law matters, with the chance to take on significant contentious work from the outset.Responsibilities include:\tAdvising on day-to-day employment and HR queries\tPreparing Tribunal submissions and managing case correspondence\tDrafting witness statements and conducting legal research\tAdvocacy opportunities in Employment Tribunals and appeal hearings\tDrafting contracts, handbooks and policy documentation\tSupporting non-contentious work, including TUPE-related matters\tContributing to training, workshops and wider team initiatives\tThis role provides strong exposure to complex and high-profile employment law matters, along with excellent opportunities to develop advocacy skillsAbout You:\t3-7 years' PQE with experience in Employment Tribunal work\tStrong client focus and commercial awareness\tExcellent communication and organisational skills\tConfident managing a varied caseload\tProactive, team-focused and keen to develop advocacy experienceWhat's on Offer?\tHigh-quality, varied work across contentious and non-contentious matters\tStructured development, including advocacy training\tSupportive team culture with clear progression\tA balanced and professional working environment
