Job DescriptionSenior Cashier CoordinatorLondon | Full-time | 12-month FTCThe RoleA leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Cashier Coordinator to join its London finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records across business, client, and personal accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting multi-office operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal finance experience, a proactive mindset, and a meticulous approach to cash management and reconciliations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform monthly bank reconciliations across business and client accountsEnsure accurate posting of journals, disbursements, and refund paymentsMonitor currency accounts and process FX trades with banking partnersMaintain personal account balances and process internal cost transfersReview and process billing write-offs and office receipts across multiple jurisdictionsCalculate accrued interest and ensure timely posting of client transactionsLiaise with Partners, lawyers, and compliance teams on client account activityDaily compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)Respond to general accounting queries and assist with ad hoc finance projectsAbout YouProven experience in a legal cashiering role within a law firmFamiliarity with 3E Elite or similar accounting systemsStrong understanding of SAR and legal finance complianceHigh attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesReliable, collaborative, and confident working independently or within a teamThis is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured finance environment and enjoys supporting cross-border operations with precision and professionalism.
