A full-time opportunity available to assist a professional young woman, who recently completed a Research Masters and is actively involved with several charitable organisations. £32,000.00 + Gross per Annum. * Nearest Station: York Railway * Salary/Wage: BASIC £32,000.00 + per Annum. * Driving Requirements: Yes, WAV automatic drive for use on duty * Essential: Happy to travel (in the UK and internationally), interest in sports and current affairs, educated to Degree level, this role is open to *Female applicants only. * Start Date: January 2026 * Days & Hours: Minimum 35 hours on average per week, offering 24-hour shifts. A retired Paralympian, Eve recently completed a Masters (Social Policy), and is both a public speaker and presenter; it’s safe to say, she is beyond busy and no two days are the same. Eve speaks at conferences and holds workshops on using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and living life with a physical disability. Eve has a range of interests and hobbies, travelling, keeping fit, socialising and entertaining. Her team of 5 PA’s provide assistance with day-to-day tasks, and there is an opening for a new member of the team to join.The Role at a Glance:Eve has a physical disability, is a wheelchair user, and her AAC supports her communication, her PA’s provides 1:1, and at times 2:1 assistance with her personal and professional life, supporting with her personal care, as directed, managing her household, general life admin, cooking, driving, work and study related duties; essentially assisting Eve to live life as she wishes. The role includes sleeping night support (paid as additional overtime), meaning that when on shift you will sleep over at Eve’s home. The rota is provided 4 to 6 weeks in advance and will involve working some weekends. You will be intuitive, knowing when to step up, or back, and share similar interests to Eve. Personality fit is key for this role, regardless of your background or experience.
