Senior Simulation and Modelling Engineer

Job DescriptionSenior/Principal Simulation and Modelling EngineerSalary: Circa £55,000, Depending on ExperienceLocation: Stevenage - Primarily On-Site Working with World-Class Equipment An opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer/ physicist/mathematician to join a specialist team working on the modelling and simulation of complex air defence systems. You will focus on the development, integration and validation of numerical models that influence design and performance from early concepts through to in-service use. Key Responsibilities:Build and validate models using MATLAB and SimulinkWork alongside system designers, software developers and external partnersSupport automation, testing and continuous integration processesEnsure coding standards, peer reviews and configuration management are followedContribute to model reviews, technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration Skills and Experience:Proven coding expertise, ideally in MATLAB, Simulink or similarStrong knowledge of dynamic systems and numerical modellingExperience with automated C/C++ code generationFamiliarity with version control tools, e.g. Git, EWMAbility to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners Benefits:The role comes with a competitive salary and benefits package including paid overtime, annual bonuses, pension contributions of up to 14%, additional leave and excellent on-site facilities.
