Job DescriptionPosition: Engineering GeologistLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid working available)Salary: Up to £35,000 + benefitsContract: Permanent, full-timeAbout the RoleWe are working with a respected consultancy seeking an Engineering Geologist to join their growing Birmingham team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a wide range of geotechnical and civil engineering projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.Key Responsibilities * Plan, manage, and undertake ground investigations. * Supervise drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing. * Interpret geological, geotechnical, and environmental data. * Prepare factual and interpretative reports. * Support geotechnical design for foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth project delivery.Requirements * Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related discipline. * Experience in site investigation and geotechnical engineering (postgraduate or industry). * Strong knowledge of UK geology and ground conditions. * Excellent report writing and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Full UK driving licence.What’s on Offer * Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience. * Hybrid working model (office and remote flexibility). * Professional development and support towards Chartership. * Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects. * Collaborative team environment with clear career progression
