We are looking for a proactive and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Homecare team, providing leadership and ensuring high-quality, person-centred services.Please note: The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.Pay & HoursRate of pay: £15.32 per hourHours of work: 40 hours per weekShift pattern: To be discussed at interviewDuties & ResponsibilitiesAs aDeputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager and leading the branch. Your responsibilities will include:Deputising for the Manager and representing HICA in their absenceLeading recruitment and selection of care staffMaintaining outcome-based services tailored to individual needsDesigning effective rotas to ensure quality service deliveryManaging services in line with legislation and company standardsBuilding strong relationships with service users, families, professionals, and community partnersMonitoring budgets and ensuring profitabilitySupervising and mentoring staff to maintain high standardsHandling performance issues and supporting staff developmentInvestigating and responding to concerns or complaintsMaintaining accurate records in line with GDPR and company policyParticipating in the on-call rota and covering care calls when requiredExperience & QualificationsWere looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering inclusive care. Ideally, you will have:Previous experience in a domiciliary or extra care settingSupervisory experience and ability to lead a teamLevel 3 Diploma in Care (or equivalent)Knowledge of care legislation, risk assessment, and support planningStrong communication and IT skillsA full driving licence and access to reliable transportRewards & BenefitsWe believe great work deserves great rewards.
