Job DescriptionPROJECT ENGINEER SOUTHAMPTON OR SWINDON OR HYBRIDWe are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver multiple P removal schemes across the Wessex Water region. This role will report to a Project Manager, and the candidate will be responsible for supporting the project team with the procurement, installation and handover documentation for all electrical and mechanical aspects of the project delivery. Candidates ideally will be qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and have some experience of working within the water industry would be beneficial.The successful candidate would be predominantly site based in the Wessex Water region, with a requirement to attend our Southampton Head Office or our new Swindon Office, when required. Options for hybrid working are open to discussion. Role & Responsibilities:Collaborate with all stakeholders and engage with regular communicationsAttend internal and external meetingsCollaborate with internal and external design teams with input to design and constructabilitySupervision and recording of survey workResponsible for the development and management of project procurement schedulesAid with the submission of material enquires and the review of quotationsPlacement of material ordersEnsure that site installation works and its quality match both design, client and industry standardsProduction of redline drawingsProduction and management of handover documentationAssist with the development of Risk Assessments and Method StatementsEmploy a high level of Health and Safety across all aspects of site worksQualifications/Competency:Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR by experienceECS/CSCS cardSSSTS First Aid Experience of working within the water industry or related industriesWorking Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment Having an understanding of Quality AssuranceProficient in Microsoft Office About Trant:Trant Engineering Ltd has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
