Job DescriptionWe're looking for experienced Nightshift MOT Testers to join our growing team.We offer:Salary from £44,000 Additional opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses- terms and conditions apply.Motorstore, ChesterfieldAll overtime paid at time and a half26.5 days' annual leaveToolbox coverTraining provided to become an EV-accredited TechnicianGenerous employee discountsOpportunities to review salary yearlyPrivate healthcare and sick pay coverMaternity and paternity packagesHoursFull time: Monday - Thursday 7.30pm - 7amAbout the roleAs an Arnold Clark MOT Tester, you will work to the highest standards according to the DVSA, carrying out repairs or replacing parts as needed.You'll be able to follow procedures and instructions to a high standard with meticulous attention to detail, while working safely and efficiently both on your own and as part of a successful, professional team.Day-to-day dutiesCarry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA testing standardsRepair or replace broken or defective partsMaintain equipment and make sure tools are in good conditionFollow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed correctlyComplete documentation to the required standardEssential skillsA full UK driving licenseCertificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3Minimum of one year's experience as an MOT TesterA full and clean MOT recordStrong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyAbility to maintain equipment and toolsAbility to carry out procedures and checks to a high standard and complete paperwork accuratelyAbility to work as a team player and on your own initiativeOur CultureArnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
