Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £60,000We are building a next-generation AI product that combines real technical depth with strong user experience, and we are looking for a Software Engineer to help shape it from the ground up.You will join at the earliest stage, working directly with the founder to define the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who has lived at the intersection of software development, product, engineering, and operations.You will be instrumental in setting up our product development processes, establishing our offshore engineering capability, and ensuring we build something users genuinely love.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain core technology systems, including tracking infrastructures, attribution models, and automation frameworksExamine existing software in light of business needsConduct research to build scalable, efficient, and reliable code to support internal tools and client-facing solutionsWrite code for specific projects, including our new AI projectDevelop user interfaces, implement and evaluate softwareOwn the product development lifecycle from ideation through launch, working within an Agile frameworkTest and correct programsWork closely with design and engineering to ensure product quality and user experience excellenceDevelop scripts and tools to automate data collection, reporting, and analytics processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven decision frameworks, predictive attribution models, and other advanced analytics solutionsEvaluate and correct softwareEngage with early users to gather feedback and iterate rapidly based on real-world usageTranslate product vision into clear requirements and user stories that engineering teams can execute againstWork with client teams to implement bespoke technical solutions and meet specific requirementsMaintain clear technical documentation for all systems, processes, and integrationsPlan and maintain database structuresSupport internal support, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure team-wide users' understanding of systemsCreate and develop website interfaces and implement new methodologiesKey Skills8 plus years managing complex technical products and engineering teams in software developmentDeep experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and product development best practicesStrong technical fluencyDemonstrated ability to shape product strategy and make critical build, buy, or defer decisionsSkilled in integrating multiple platformsExperience taking products from zero to one, ideally in early-stage or startup environmentsStrong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues, data inconsistencies, and integration conflictsEnsuring data integrity, system reliability, and precise implementation of tracking and reporting toolsGood communication and teamwork skills
