Job DescriptionQuantity Surveyor – Electrical & Mechanical InstallationsSheffield | Full-time | £60k-£65k + company vehicle + benefitsAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in M&E contracting? Join a respected Sheffield-based electrical and mechanical contractor delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing project costs and contracts from start to finish — ensuring financial accuracy, maximising profitability, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors.What You’ll Do * Prepare and manage client and subcontractor applications, valuations, and variations * Oversee cost control, forecasting, and monthly reports (CTCs) * Manage procurement, contracts, and commercial documentation * Liaise closely with Project Managers and the operations team * Ensure compliance with company, client, and H&S standardsWhat You’ll Bring * Degree qualified and/or RICS-approved Quantity Surveying qualification * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial or QS role * Strong understanding of M&E contracts and project cost management * Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills * Full UK driving licenceWhy Join * Established M&E contractor with long-term client relationships * Supportive team and clear progression opportunitiesIf you’re a proactive and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor who takes pride in accurate project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.By applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
