Job DescriptionBennett & Game are pleased to be representing a well-respected geotechnical and environmental consultancy seeking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically diverse projects providing geotechnical input to residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments across the UK.The successful candidate will be involved in ground investigations, interpretation of geotechnical data, and the production of design-led recommendations to support safe and efficient development. You will manage multiple projects, contribute to foundation and earthworks design, and collaborate closely with geo-environmental and civil teams. The company offers clear progression routes, chartership support, and exposure to complex ground conditions.Job OverviewManage and interpret ground investigation data including logging and laboratory resultsProduce geotechnical assessments and design recommendations for foundations and earthworksSupport slope stability, bearing capacity, and ground improvement assessmentsReview factual and interpretative ground investigation reportsCoordinate with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure effective project deliveryWork collaboratively with geo-environmental and civil engineers on integrated schemesJob RequirementsDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or related disciplineMinimum of 2 years' experience within a geotechnical consultancy or investigation roleGood understanding of UK geotechnical design standards and ground investigation practiceAbility to interpret geotechnical data and present clear design recommendationsStrong report writing and communication skillsWorking towards or interested in professional chartership (ICE or GeolSoc)Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary dependent on experience25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHybrid working available following probationStructured career progression and chartership supportExposure to complex ground conditions and multi-disciplinary projectsSupportive and technically focused team environmentBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.We are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying you are granting us consent to process your data, contact you about the services we offer, and submit your CV for the role you have applied for.
