Job DescriptionCure Talent are excited to partner with a long-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business, serving customers across multiple high-tech regulated industries.Due to continued investment and expansion into a new state-of-the-art facility, they’re now looking to appoint a Senior Physicist / Electromagnetics Engineer to join their R&D team and play a key role in driving forward innovation and product development.The Role: Lead the design, simulation, and testing of electromagnetic and shielding solutions across a range of sectorsManage and deliver R&D projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are metSupervise and mentor junior engineers and scientists, providing technical guidance and leadershipConduct simulation and modelling using tools such as ANSYS and Maxwell 3D, alongside programming in Python or similarLiaise with customers and external partners, providing high-level technical support and consultancySupport funding and grant applications, contributing to collaborative R&D projects and new technology initiativesAbout You: Degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Physics, Electronics, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years’ relevant industry experience, ideally with project or team leadership responsibilitiesStrong technical grounding in electromagnetics and related simulation toolsExperienced in R&D project delivery within an ISO9001-controlled environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative approachBenefit: Competitive salary up to £60K DOEEnhanced pension contributions and quarterly bonus schemeCycle to work scheme, company sick pay, and death in service coverFree on-site parking and employee referral schemeOngoing training and professional development
