The business has performed strongly, with continued expansion supported by significant private equity backing.The RoleAs Interim FP&A Manager, you will support the Finance Director and wider commercial finance team across forecasting, planning, reporting, and operational analysis. Key responsibilities include:Delivery of effective reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysisBusiness partnering with site managers and operational leads to identify efficiency improvements and enhance marginsDetailed margin analysis at product and customer levelStock analysis, reporting, and improvement initiatives, including slow-moving provisionsSupporting and maintaining standard costing, including BOMs and labour cost calculationsTracking and challenging business improvement initiatives across UK sitesPreparation, review and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly reports and KPIsAnalysis of results versus budget, forecast and prior year, including variance discussions with stakeholdersSupporting weekly cashflow forecasting and monthly external reportingSupporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, including identification of risks and opportunitiesMonth-end support and continuous improvement of controls, systems and processesProviding ad-hoc financial support to strategic and tactical initiativesYour ProfileYou will ideally have:3-5 years of relevant FP&A experienceA recognised finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred)Knowledge of NetSuite, Power BI or SQL (advantageous)Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and organisational skillsAbility to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsWillingness to travel occasionally to other UK sitesCompensation & BenefitsAlongside a competitive day rate, this interim role offers exposure to a highly ambitious business with significant operational complexity and investment.
