This role covers a large area, including Southend, Ipswich, Luton, and surrounding locations, so candidates must be happy to travel.As an operative in the Social Housing sector, you will be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance work across communal and residential properties. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, complying with health & safety regulations, and delivering excellent customer service to residents.Key Responsibilities:Carry out routine and planned electrical maintenance across multiple propertiesComplete multiple jobs per day efficiently and safelyProvide a high standard of customer service to residentsParticipate in a call-out rota (1 week on / 1 week off)Qualifications & Experience Required:NVQ Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent)AM2, 18th Edition, and ECS Gold CardFull UK manual driving licenseExperience working in social housing or similar environment preferred but not essential Knowledge of health & safety regulations and complianceComfortable using PDA/job scheduling softwareWhat's on Offer:Salary: up to £38,000 per yearLong-term, permanent roleCompany van and fuel card provided (for business use)Paid holiday and employer pension contributionsProgression opportunities to supervisor or management roles, with support for additional trainingCompany events and charity involvementAdditional Requirements:Willingness to undergo a DBS check (no unspent convictions)Drug and alcohol tests will be carried out If you're a qualified, reliable electrician who enjoys varied work and doesn't mind travelling, we'd love to hear from you by calling Sommer on (phone number removed)
