We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated solicitor of circa 2-3 years PQE to join the busy Private Client department (full-time).Reporting to the Head of Private Client, the successful candidate will be bright, ambitious and technically competent in all areas of Private Client law.Private Client Solicitor Key Responsibilities: \tProvide expert legal advice on matters including Wills, Estate Administration, Court of Protection cases, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Deeds of Variation, Inheritance Tax Planning, and Trusts.\tManage a varied caseload independently, ensuring all matters are handled with professionalism and efficiency.\tDraft and review Wills, Trusts, LPAs, and related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.\tAdvise clients on effective Inheritance Tax planning and other tax-efficient strategies to manage their estates.\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and clear communication throughout the process.\tCollaborate with the Head of Private Client and other team members to deliver exceptional legal services and support the department’s growth.Skills and Attributes of the Private Client Solicitor:\tOutstanding communication\tConfident in handling your own caseload\tExcellent organisational skills – particularly diary, file and time management\tAbility to use initiative\tA friendly, positive and proactive approach\tIT skills including Outlook, Word & Excel\tApproachable and empathetic\tTeam playerBenefits: \tGenerous holiday allowance\tMedical Insurance\tChristmas office closure\tPension\tFree parking at the Stone office
