We prioritise a work-life balance and want our employees to have a fantastic family life which is why we almost never work weekendsCAP Qualified Powered Access Technician - The Role:As a CAP Qualified Powered Access Technician at Mainline Group, you will be a key member of our service team, responsible for keeping our customers' powered access equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will work both on-site at customer locations and in our workshop, handling a variety of equipment and technical challenges.Your role is essential in maintaining the high standards of safety, reliability, and service that Mainline is known for. You will combine hands-on technical work with problem-solving, mentoring apprentices, and supporting the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.CAP Qualified Powered Access Technician - Key Responsibilities:- Attending breakdowns on customer sites- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment- Performing LOLER inspections and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical problems- Overseeing the work of apprentices- Complying with all safety regulationsCAP Qualified Powered Access Technician - You:- Relevant experience or qualifications within the powered access industry eg. CAP, NVQ or manufacturer courses- A sound mechanical knowledge in a powered access background- Competence in electrical and hydraulic systems- Experience in fault finding / diagnostics- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skillsCAP Qualified Powered Access Technician - Benefits:At Mainline our people are the cornerstone of our success.
