Job DescriptionI am delighted to working with a market leader on their search for a newly created management accountant. You will be reporting into a high performing Financial Controller.Day to day duties will include:\tPreparation of monthly management accounts for various groups, ensuring deadlines are met.\tMaintenance of accurate profit and loss reporting to reflect business performance, alongside balance sheets that present a true financial position.\tProduction of KPI reports and other management information each month, accompanied by clear narrative and analysis.\tCompletion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with transparent explanation of reconciling items.\tProvision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends to support management decision‑making.\tIdentification and escalation of potential financial and operational risks to senior stakeholders.\tContribution to budgeting and forecasting processes. working with senior stakeholders.The ideal candidate will be:\tPart qualified/finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA\tProven experience producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs\tSolid background in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking\tExperience leading or supporting year-end audits\tAdvanced Excel skills\tExperience using BI tools (desirable)\tProven ability to influence at senior level
