Job DescriptionImmediate Vacancy for 2 x Experienced Water Hygiene Engineers1x based around East London 1 x based around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire , BuckinghamshireOrion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of Experienced Water Hygiene Engineers with the role of an additional 2 x experienced Water Hygiene Engineers.With an excellent industry reputation, gained over twenty years, Orion lead the way in the delivery of building engineering and support services.The successful candidates must be experienced and will be responsible for a range of water hygiene tasks, visiting client sites and be the face of the company, seeking to enhance relationships with existing clients. You will be carrying out key duties to ensure their systems are kept compliant including TMV (thermostatic mixing valves) serving, chemical descaling, leading and managing disinfection works, sampling, and be capable of plumbing related works from water hygiene tasks.DutiesConduct water testing and control works, including samplingConduct water hygiene tasks, descaling, temperature monitoring, TMV Servicing etcDescaling of shower head and hoses.Working in partnership with your fellow Water Hygiene Engineers to carry out Tank Cleans/DisinfectionsCalorifier/Hot Water Cylinder ServicesCalorifier Clean/DescalingExpansion Vessel ServicesDay-to-Day Plumbing Maintenance Fixings taps, TMVs, showers, ball valves, gate valves, stop cocks desirable.CWS Tanks, HW cylinders, TMVs, TRVs radiators. Shower Maintenance Maintaining and replacing shower valvesExperience in water hygiene engineering At least 2- 3 years in a relevant waster hygiene role. Legionella Awareness Training desirable / City & Guilds water industry certifications and other relevant qualifications in water hygieneGood basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1,2,3.Experience at plumbing - desirableNVQ Level 2-3 Plumbing or other plumbing qualification desirable.Hold HWSS G3 Qualification to work on unvented and vented cylinders ideally.Experience with water hygiene-related plumbing work is highly desirableAbility to make recommendations from service visits.Clean UK Driving License.Clean DBS Record.JBRP1_UKTJ
