Job DescriptionWhat You'll Be DoingLeading the Delivery Team:Oversee daily delivery operations and ensure smooth functioning.Plan deliveries and ensure accurate, safe loading.Conduct plant/vehicle checks and manage outbound deliveries.Driving Commercial Success:Implement the store's sales plan and make sound commercial decisions.Maximize delivery service profitability and promote monthly offers.Handle customer inquiries and upsell Selco services.Empowering and Developing the Team:Set direction and assign tasks, monitoring results.Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for direct reports and drivers.Foster a high-support, high-challenge environment and empower colleagues.Operational Leadership & On-Duty Responsibility:Act as the senior leader, managing store operations and resolving issues.Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.Serve as a key holder, responsible for opening/closing and security.Service & Store Culture:Inspire and lead by example, setting the standard for customer service.Promote teamwork and recognize colleagues who embody core values.Ensure safe, ethical, and compliant store operations.Rewards & BenefitsAt Selco Builders Warehouse, we believe in rewarding our colleagues with a benefits package that truly makes a difference.
