With a strong portfolio of repeat business, the company prides itself on craftsmanship, transparency, and lasting relationships.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the commercial team, managing cost control and contract administration from pre-construction through to final account. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing and managing project budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts. * Procuring subcontractors, negotiating terms, and managing payment applications. * Carrying out regular cost reporting to ensure projects remain financially on track. * Assessing variations and managing change control processes. * Liaising with site managers, project managers, and design teams to maintain commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and industry standards.You’ll work in a hybrid capacity—with two days per week working from home and the remainder split between the office and project sites.REQUIREMENTS * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the commercial fit-out or refurbishment sector. * Strong knowledge of traditional contracting and JCT forms of contract. * Skilled in cost control, procurement, and contractual negotiation. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. * Proficiency with industry-standard software for estimating, reporting, and tendering.REWARDS AND BENEFITS * Salary: Competitive package based on experience, with potential performance bonus. * Hybrid working: 2 days per week working from home. * Opportunity to work on varied, high-profile fit-out projects. * Supportive and collaborative team environment with a strong emphasis on professional development. * Well-structured career progression within a reputable, stable contractor
