Job DescriptionThe roleWe are looking for a Solicitor or Associate to join our successful, highly respected and rapidly growing Energy and Resource Management team. Our Energy and Resource Management team is at the cutting edge of delivering energy projects within the energy and waste management sectors that is undergoing a once in a generation transformation as we move towards a cleaner and greener energy system.You will play a critical role in contributing to the ongoing success of our Energy and Resource Management team. On a day-to day basis, you will be assisting clients on a range of exciting work, including:Supporting on the procurement and delivery of a range of innovative energy and infrastructure projectsUsing your commercial acumen to develop and deliver strategic commercial projectsGrowing your network and developing long-standing relationships with a range of public and private sector clientsJoin a team of experts and progressive thinkersThe team consists of four market leading partners Nadeem Arshad, Nathan Bradberry, Rupert Lugg and Gemma Glasspole. Gemma has joined our Birmingham office to support our growth in this location. (Legal 500)What we are looking for from youOur talented Energy and Resource Management teams consists of lawyers who have transferred into the energy sector, bringing with them a diverse set of skills and experience. We will therefore consider candidates from a range of backgrounds and experience including, for example, a candidate with a background in projects, commercial, FM, investor or finance, without direct experience of the energy sector.One of the key attributes that we look for in applicants is a passion to learn, enthusiasm and the desire to excel as a lawyer in the energy sector.
