Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled HGV TECHNICIAN/ FITTER to join our expanding team.Ideal candidate must have relevant qualifications and experience and a Full driving licenceThis role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment. The Technician/ Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet company standards.ResponsibilitiesCarry out all mechanical work to HGV Tipper lorry's (Scania, Volvo, DAF fleet) ensuring they are road worthy and fit for purposeUtilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.Communicate with team members to improve processes and resolve any issues that arise during production.SkillsProficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.Solid mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamIf you possess the necessary skills and are eager to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as HGV Technician.Role is Monday - Friday 6am-6pm with weekend work available if interestedJob Type: Full-timePay: £25.00-£27.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Free parkingOn-site parkingWork Location: In personReference ID: Calahans FitterExpected start date: 08/12/2025
