This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, and the school is particularly interested in teachers with solid KS2 experience, ideally those beyond their ECT year, who can confidently support pupils through their final year of primary education.About the role: Year 6 Class Teacher· Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Year 6 lessons· Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a balanced and engaging curriculum· Use effective differentiation to meet a wide range of learning needs· Foster strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment· Work closely with the SLT, Year 6 team, and support staff· Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues· Safeguard pupils and uphold school policies at all times· Permanent or Fixed Term contract· Full-Time or Part-Time options available· ASAP or January 2026 start· Located in Waltham Forest, North East LondonThe ideal candidate: Year 6 Class Teacher· QTS required· Ideally NOT an ECT – school prefers teachers with Y6/Upper KS2 experience· Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation· Confident, organised, and proactive in your teaching approach· Excellent communication and classroom management skills· Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil progress· Positive, reliable, and committed to high standardsBenefits of joining Clarus Education as a Year 6 Teacher:· Paid to scale (AWR) – equal to permanent staff from week 12· Permanent and long-term opportunities available· Dedicated consultant for ongoing support· DBS guidance and assistance· £250 ‘Refer a Teacher bonus / £150 for support staff· Regular check-ins and professional development supportAdditional InformationPlease note: Sponsorship cannot be offered for this position Year 6 Class Teacher role.
