Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWere proud to be recruiting for one of our long-standing and prestigious clients based in Castle Donington, who are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their growing teamIf youre passionate about precision engineering, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and enjoy working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment this could be the perfect role for you.This is a Full-Time, Permanent positionWhat youll be doingInterpret technical drawings and CAD models to create and optimise CNC programsDetermine tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for efficient productionSet up and calibrate CNC machines (Heidenhain & Siemens controls)Run first-off inspections and ensure all components meet quality specificationsPerform in-process checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure minimal downtimeMaintain a clean, organised, and safe working environmentHoursMonday-Thursday 7am-3pm or 8am-4pmFriday 7am-1pmPay£17.69 per hour / £34,955.44 per annum Skills/Experience Required Proven experience in CNC Programming and operation (Heidenhain or Siemens)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (basic GD&T knowledge desirable)Experience using CAM software such as Powermill, Fusion 360, or similar Strong understanding of machining principlesCompleted a Time-Served Apprenticeship or hold an HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent)Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilitiesPositive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamBenefits 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Company pensionCompetitive salary Free on-site parkingDay shifts with no weekendsFree fruit, tea & coffeeMonthly prize draws Quarterly bonusEarly Friday finish EssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be able to commute to Castle Donington.What to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touchModus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.JBRP1_UKTJ
