Reward, in conjunction with partners NatWest Group, was also awarded the Industry Achievement Award 2023 at the prestigious Card and Payments Awards.Role SummaryAs a Data Product Manager within our Data Product team, you will drive the strategy, roadmap and delivery of data and analytics products that power smarter, faster and more personalised decision-making across the business and Reward's clients. Reporting to the Data Director, you will define how we productise insight, improve data quality, and deliver scalable, self-serve capabilities that enable teams to unlock value from data independently.This is a highly cross-functional role, working across a matrix of other Product teams, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing and Commercial teams. You will own key data products including segmentation, personalisation, forecasting, attribution and insight delivery workflows. While primarily strategy and delivery-focused, hands-on analytical or technical ability will be an advantage when validating ideas, shaping solutions or guiding technical teams.You will play a crucial role in modernising our data capabilities - improving data quality, establishing governance, and ensuring data products are designed, delivered and adopted in a way that drives real commercial impact.ResponsibilitiesData & Analytics Product Strategy & OwnershipDefine and communicate the long-term strategy for our portfolio of data products, aligned with business and commercial objectives.Facilitate the definition of the roadmap for data and insights productsShape how insight is productised — turning analytics, models and data assets into repeatable, scalable and user-friendly productsEstablish data product governance, ensuring clear ownership, strong definitions, product lifecycle processes and quality standardsCross-Functional LeadershipWork across Engineering, Analytics, Marketing and Commercial teams to drive data product development from concept through to adoptionTranslate business needs into clear product requirements and high level solutionsFacilitate alignment between technical teams and stakeholders, balancing speed, innovation and delivery certaintyChampion a product-led delivery culture that blends experimentation with structured, predictable executionDelivery & ExecutionLead the design and implementation of data products such as segmentation, personalisation, PCLO forecasting, ROI measurement and marketing attributionDrive enhancements to data quality frameworks, improving completeness, accuracy and reliability across data domainsSupport the rollout of self-service analytics tools and capabilities to empower business usersData Governance, Quality & CompliancePartner with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to define and enforce data quality standards and measurement processesConsult with legal, risk & compliance to support the implementation of robust data classification, security and compliance practices across insight productsInsights & Value CreationCollaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure insights generated through our products are actionable, timely and commercially valuableUse market trends, stakeholder input and product performance metrics to prioritise enhancementsDrive adoption of data products and measure their impact on commercial performance, operational efficiency and customer understandingEmbed an AI first approach to defining new data products, becoming an AI champion for data products.RequirementsExperience & ExpertiseProven experience in Data Product Management or adjacent roles (e.g., Analytics Product Owner, Insight Platform PM).Strong foundation in analytics, with the ability to understand data models, segmentation, attribution and personalisation techniquesFamiliarity with AWS, Redshift, SQL Server, Snowflake, dbt and Power BIAbility to define product strategies, build roadmaps and lead cross-functional delivery in a matrix-managed environmentStrong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks and regulatory considerations (e.g., GDPR)Leadership & Behavioural SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate technical detail into business valueCommercially focused with strong business acumen.Curious, solution-oriented and comfortable innovating within structured delivery frameworks.Agile mindset with a passion for experimentation, iteration and continuous improvement.The BenefitsAnnual Leave: 25 days + bank holidaysAbility to buy and sell holiday days as well as the ability to bank days (tenure dependant)Flexible working options: we are operating a hybrid working model with 3 days a week from the officePension: Hargreaves Lansdown up to 6% matched contributionEmployee share schemeGenerous family friendly coverPrivate healthcare - BupaIncome protectionCritical illness coverLife insurance coverDental coverOptical coverYulife app for access to employee wellbeing and discountsPerks at Work, cashback/discount shopping siteEmployee referral schemeSalary sacrifice program which includes cycle to work scheme, electric car scheme and season ticket loansVolunteering programCompany events i.e. Christmas party, all-company event and other social/hosted events during the year (we have an active social committee)Team socials
