Job DescriptionPrivate Client Solicitor/Associate/Senior Associate – Brighton, East Sussex An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate / Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Private Client Advisory team based in Brighton, with hybrid working options available. This role offers the chance to work with a collaborative and high-performing team advising high-net-worth individuals and families.Your Role and Responsibilities:As an Associate/Senior Associate, you will provide expert guidance to clients on the following areas:Legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning.Trusts created during a lifetime or by will.Tax planning, estate administration and post-death planning.To be successful in this role, you should bring:A strong background in advising on and managing complex wills, probate, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney and estate administrationExperience in lifetime inheritance tax (IHT) planning and the taxation and administration of trustsExceptional financial discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and external professionalsEmpathy and compassion to guide clients through personal and challenging circumstancesExperience in supervising and mentoring junior team membersA passion for business development and building client relationshipsFamiliarity with the private client markets in West Sussex or Hampshire (desirable, but not essential)This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)Benefits:This role comes with a competitive benefits package, including:25 days of annual leave as standard, plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional hoursFlexible and generous pension schemesTwo paid volunteering days per year to support a cause of your choiceWestfield Health membership offering medical service refunds and access to Aviva Digital GP servicesComprehensive well-being initiatives to support your mental health and work-life balanceHybrid working options through the “Flexible by Choice” program, tailored to role and team requirementsWhy Join?This firm fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace where colleagues can flourish.
