Job DescriptionSenior Quantity Surveyor – Major Mixed-Use Development Location: South London Salary: £85,(Apply online only)–£95,(Apply online only) + comprehensive package Employment: Permanent Start: ASAPThe Opportunity: A leading main contractor–developer is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a landmark mixed-use scheme in South London.This flagship development comprises 400+ residential units, alongside retail and leisure space, and will form a key part of a major regeneration programme. You will play a central commercial role in the successful delivery of this long-term project, supporting both pre-construction and construction phase activities.Key Responsibilities:Managing all commercial and cost-related aspects of the projectPreparing cost plans, forecasts, and financial reportsLeading procurement and contract administrationManaging subcontractor packages through to final accountIdentifying commercial risks and advising on mitigation strategiesSupporting commercial governance and reporting processesBuilding strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholdersProviding guidance and support to junior members of the commercial teamRequirements:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS on large-scale residential or mixed-use developmentsStrong knowledge of JCT contractsExperience working across the full project life cycleAbility to manage complex packages and high-value scopesExcellent commercial awareness, communication, and leadership skillsMain contractor or developer background preferredWhy Apply?Join a respected contractor-developer with a strong pipeline of major projectsWork on a high-profile scheme with long-term development potentialGiven the size and duration of this scheme, there will be excellent progression opportunities to Commercial Manager for an individual keen to take the commercial lead on the overall projectCompetitive salary and package with strong career stabilityIf you’re interested in this position or would like to discuss other Buyer opportunities, please contact Gareth Jeffrey on (phone number removed), or send your CV via email (url removed)All applications are handled in the strictest confidence.
