Job DescriptionSouthwark - Part-Time English TeacherSalary: Inner London MPS/UPSTradewind are recruiting Are you looking for your next role teaching English in a friendly and supportive school located in Southwark?Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time English Teacher to join one of our valued partner schools in Southwark. This is a 3-day-per-week role, starting January, with the possibility of extension into the September 2026You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support literacy development and inspire a love of English Language and Literature. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute positively to the collaborative ethos of the English department.RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) - EssentialExperience teaching English at KS3 & KS4 (ECTs welcome)Strong subject knowledge and passion for English educationExcellent classroom and behaviour management skillsCommitment to raising achievement and supporting student well-being This client is a warm, friendly, and inclusive secondary school in Southwark, praised in their latest Ofsted report for strong pastoral care, excellent relationships between staff and students, and a nurturing learning environment.
