Job DescriptionFreightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Export Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in export operations, including handling customs documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of export procedures.Key Responsibilities * Process export documentation, MAWB,HAWBS, commercial invoices, and customs declarations. * Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and international trade laws. * Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies . * Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation. * Assist in resolving any customs-related issues. * Work closely with internal departments to coordinate export processes efficiently. * Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. * Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.Key Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in an export role, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain. * Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation. * Experience using customs entry systems * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Working hours: Monday - Friday 11am - 7pmAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
