We're working with a well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturer based in the Peterborough area, who are seeking a confident and hands-on professional to lead their technical and compliance functions.As the Technical Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene are consistently achieved. You'll lead site audits, manage the technical team, and drive continuous improvement across the site — particularly within CIP (Clean in Place) processes, which are central to this role.This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys being at the heart of production excellence. You'll have the autonomy to influence technical strategy while working closely with senior management to deliver on both customer and compliance expectations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of site technical performance, including food safety, quality systems, and hygiene.Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with BRC and customer standards.Manage and develop the technical and quality teams.Drive continuous improvement through robust CIP processes.Act as the main point of contact for customer and regulatory technical matters.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Technical Manager in the food manufacturing sector.Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CIP systems.Excellent knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and food safety management systems.Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.If you're a Technical Manager with a passion for food quality, safety, and innovation — and you're ready to take your career to the next level — we'd love to hear from you.
