This offer is made for you We are seeking talented engineers who want to work on the biggest projects and are not afraid of new challenges.EXPERTISE:We are seeking enthusiastic Engineers with a drive to work on the design and construction of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear new build power plant, currently one of the world's largest construction projects.This is a great way to be exposed to the latest technology and digital construction methods with 3D BIM rebar modelling in TEKLA on such a large industrial project.You will be part of a site design team of civil engineers, BIM coordinator and draftsmen working on the most complicated RC structures of Nuclear Island buildings in the Hinkley Point C project (in particular, Reactor buildings, Fuel building, Safeguard buildings). You will work with senior engineer building pilot, chief draftsman and drafting team to answer to construction team requests.You will be involved in a wide range of activities, which will include:Modifying reinforced concrete or steel structure designs compliant with the ETC-C or other relevant codes (Eurocodes) and project methodologyChecking and coordinating the detailing activities with CAD designers or other engineers in preparation of 3D BIM rebar model and/or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steels structureManaging engineering changes in line with company/project procedures and QA processLiaising with other stakeholders of site engineering team or construction team for clarification on the site requestLiaising with the office team for clarification on design package or for closing out of design package issuesTechnical review and acceptance of contractor deliverablesSite Walkdowns and inspectionSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in Structural Work3D BIM Rebar ModellingExperience with Reinforced ConcreteExperience in TEKLA, Eurocodes, REVIT, NavisworksDesign and Site ExperiencePrevious experience of the nuclear industry sector or other highly heavy industry sectorsWorking knowledge of the detailed design phases and how this is transitioned to the construction phaseResponsibility for schedule for engineering tasks reporting to the management, scheduling and commercial requirementsWorking with contractors on site to deliver the implementation of engineering solutionsAdditional information:This role will require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.WHO ARE WE?SEIMAF, now part of Capgemini Engineering, are at the forefront of engineering and R&D services.
