We support a number of Primary Schools across the area and Tradewind are able to offer supply work in different suburbs across Croydon, including, Croydon, Purley, Coulsdon, Selsdon, Shirley, Norbury, Thornton Heath and New Addington.We are looking for experienced and passionate Primary Trained Teachers who are able to support our primary schools in these areas, where we are experiencing a high demand of absence cover.Whether you're an ECT keen to gain experience across different schools or an experienced teacher looking for flexibility, we can offer you consistent, rewarding work.Why choose Tradewind?We are one of the UK's market-leading education staffing provider, working with the best primary schools across Croydon - many rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.Flexible options to suit your way of life: daily supply, block bookings, or part-time contracts.Frequent roles and opportunities: we can subsidise your income if your current agency isn't offering you enough work.You are paid directly from Tradewind PAYE - no hidden deductions.You'll have direct support of an experienced consultant with 6+ years' experience and understands the profession.Partnered with the National College- providing you access to ongoing free CPD training to keep yourself upskilled.What to expect as a Supply Teacher?Deliver lessons based on the absent teacher's plans-or create your own if necessary-to ensure continuity of students' learning.Supervise and engage students during lessons, breaks, lunch, detention, and other school routines.Manage classroom behaviour, enforce expectations, and uphold the school's behaviour policies.Take registers, attend assemblies, and undertake other day-to-day duties of the permanent teacher.Ensure a safe, secure learning environment and follow school safety protocols (e.g., fire drills, safeguarding).The ideal applicant:Qualified Primary trained teachers (QTS) - open to ECTs and experienced teachersFlexible, adaptable and reliable professionalsPunctual and FriendlyStrong classroom management skillsEnthusiasm to make a positive impact in a range of school settingsOpen to working with either EYFS or Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 on a supply basisAble to travel across varying Primary Schools in Croydon for an 8:15-8:30am arrivalContribute to the values and ethos of the schoolWe look forward to working with you
