Job DescriptionHGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity (Leicester, Leicestershire)People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, and the potential to secure a permanent position within a reputable and supportive business.Shifts• Monday to Friday• 06:00 – 15:00Rates of Pay• £15.75 per hourBenefits• Excellent hourly rates• Weekly pay• Ongoing, full-time work• Immediate starts available• Training provided• Temp to perm opportunityDay-to-Day Duties• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of water stock (handball and some heavy lifting required)• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and inspections• Ensure all loads are safely secured before departure• Adhere to traffic laws and working time regulations• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to managementEssential Skills• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Minimum six months' experience driving Category C vehicles• Maximum of six penalty points (no major endorsements)• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking• Good communication and teamwork skills• Strong understanding of road transport and safety regulationsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial multi-drop delivery experience• Experience working in logistics or distribution environmentsTraining Provided• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApply TodayIf you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
