Working across Azure and AWS, the team designs cloud security architectures, performs risk assessments and drives secure cloud transformation for enterprise and public sector customers.As a Senior Cloud Security Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them assess, strengthen and optimise their cloud security posture. You will lead cloud security reviews, design secure architectures and advise on governance, compliance and risk, ensuring that cloud adoption and innovation happen safely and strategically. You will also collaborate with internal SOC, Engineering and Governance teams to ensure alignment between architecture, detection and operations.Why This Role Stands Out• Join a $1B global technology provider with a rapidly growing Cyber Defence and Security Advisory practice• Deliver consultancy that defines how major organisations secure their cloud environments• Influence technical direction and help shape the future of cloud security service offerings• Up to £85,000 base salary plus bonus, comprehensive benefits and continuous learning support• Hybrid working, flexible hours and a culture built on trust, inclusion and professional growthWhat You'll Be Doing• Leading cloud security consultancy engagements across Microsoft Azure and AWS• Conducting cloud security posture assessments, architecture reviews and gap analyses• Designing and documenting secure cloud architectures aligned with NCSC, CIS and ISO 27001 frameworks• Advising clients on identity, access management, encryption, monitoring and network security• Leading workshops to define cloud security strategy, governance models and control frameworks• Supporting incident response and remediation activities related to cloud environments• Collaborating with SOC and Engineering teams to strengthen detection, telemetry and visibility• Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the development of cloud security methodologiesWhat You'll Bring• 4 or more years of experience in cloud security consulting, architecture or engineering• Deep technical understanding of Azure and AWS security services, controls and architecture design• Proven experience delivering cloud security assessments and secure cloud solution design• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring and incident response in cloud environments• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty and other native tools• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business needs• Understanding of hybrid connectivity, zero trust architecture and secure cloud migrationDesirable Experience• Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD security and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation• Multi cloud exposure including GCPWhat You'll Get• Salary up to £85,000 plus bonus• Hybrid working and flexible hours• Funded training, certifications and career mentoring• Access to leading tools, labs and cloud learning platforms• Private healthcare, pension and wellbeing support• Collaborative, inclusive culture built around growth, innovation and trustIf you are ready to take the next step in your cloud security career and want to do it in a company that invests in your development, values your expertise and celebrates success together, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact securing enterprise cloud environments across the UK and beyond.
