This position offers excellent challenges, and great rewards for the successful candidates who will gain training and experience in a fast paced, lean focused aseptic manufacture environment.We are excited to announce that we have permanent Engineering Technician opportunities at our Macclesfield campus as we bring our new production lines into commercial manufacture and grow our engineering team.What You'll DoBased across multiple manufacturing facilities, you will join our highly skilled and knowledgeable team to provide both reactive engineering support and continuous improvement activities.ResponsibilitiesProvide swift breakdown support for various pharmaceutical assets and processes within the aseptic manufacture facilities.Investigate and identify root causes using structured problem-solving methodologies.Actively lead and deliver continuous improvement activities and projects using lean and manufacturing methodologies such as RCM, TPM and CBM.Work closely with production operators to provide equipment training and coaching.Essential RequirementsRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalentONC/HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering fieldExperience in Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation subject areas (Maintenance and Fault Finding)Desirable RequirementsExperience working with automated machineryExperience of working compliantly to GMP & SHE procedures.Familiar with CMMS (SAP PM)Knowledge of IT systems e.g. Drawing/Document Management Systems, Microsoft office, Building Management Systems, PCs, PLCsKnowledge of TPM, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous ImprovementKnowledge of Project / Change managementPlease NoteThis role is internally aligned to SA91 Grade 10When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
