Job DescriptionSenior Quantity Surveyor – Watford (Main Contractor)Location: WatfordStart Date: ASAPType: Permanent (paid as Freelancer / Day Rate)Rate: Equivalent to £75,000 per annumWe are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a strong background working for a main contractor to take on a long-term, stable role with the flexibility of freelance payment.Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all commercial and financial aspects of projects from inception to completion * Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, valuations, and final accounts * Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance * Provide accurate forecasting and cost reporting to senior management * Ensure compliance with contract terms and company proceduresRequirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor (essential) * Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT / NEC) * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Able to work independently and manage multiple projects * Available to start immediatelyPackage: * Permanent position (paid via day rate as a freelancer) * Competitive remuneration equivalent to £75,000 per annum * Long-term, stable opportunity with a reputable contractorIf you’re a results-driven Senior Quantity Surveyor ready for your next challenge, apply today for immediate consideration
