As our Commercial Director, you will direct and lead the commercial strategy of the Business Unit whilst leading, inspiring and motivating the commercial team in order to generate profit.You will have overall responsibility for the regional Surveying, Buying and Estimating teams and will lead, coach and develop the team to meet departmental targets and achieve success. Including Monitoring performance of both cost and cashflow against annual budget to ensure delivery against financial quarter end targets.Advise the wider team on technical solutions, buildability and costs at design stage in conjunction with the Construction DirectorPrepare relevant KPI and reporting information for senior management/board meetings with the Regional Managing Director and Divisional Chair.To help define and embed a commercial approach to the running of the department across all levels of the hierarchy. Work with the senior management team to collaboratively guide the development of professional standards, commercial contracts, and service level agreements.Collaborate with and coordinate a strong working relationship amongst key stakeholders within the business, namely Development, Construction and Customer ServicesTo take steps to identify and manage risks commercial and otherwise.To actively support land bid submissions throughout the business unit.To build and maintain effective relationships with key working partners, including the development of strong links at all levels of the business.Market the organisation's capabilities in the delivery and management of commercial activities and maintain Vistry Homes profile with customers/clients, external bodies, suppliers, and other stakeholders.Manage risk and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedural requirements.Manage and support the performance and development of the Commercial team.Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us...We build more than homes, we're making Vistry.
