Join a dynamic live event in London as an audio engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional sound quality for a professional gathering of Somali founders and entrepreneurs. This on-site position requires expertise in live sound engineering, ensuring seamless audio experiences for both speakers and attendees. The event is scheduled for 13 December 2025, and you will be responsible for the full audio setup, live mixing, and high-quality recording throughout the event.Deliverables Set up and configure all audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, and mixing consoles, prior to the event. Conduct thorough sound checks to guarantee optimal audio levels and clarity. Manage live sound mixing during the event, adjusting levels in real time for speakers and audience interactions. Oversee the recording of the event, ensuring clear and professional audio capture. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Dismantle and safely pack down all audio equipment post-event.Requirements Proven experience as a sound or audio engineer for live events, preferably in professional or entrepreneurial settings. Proficiency with industry-standard audio equipment and digital/analog mixing consoles. Strong understanding of live sound mixing, microphone placement, and feedback management. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing event dynamics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with event organizers and speakers. Availability to work on-site in London on 13 December 2025.
