Known for innovation, quality, and a fast-paced culture, this business is scaling quickly and now seeks an exceptional Transactional Finance Manager to lead and develop their transactional finance function.The RoleAs Transactional Finance Manager, you will take ownership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the broader transactional finance environment, ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and process excellence. You will mentor a small team, drive efficiencies through automation and systems improvements, and play a key role in supporting the financial controller during a period of significant growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, develop, and mentor the transactional finance teamMaintain accurate records, control reports and clean audit trails for year-end financial auditOversee all purchase invoices, overhead invoices and employee expensesAct as a key point of contact for supplier and internal finance queriesProduce monthly reporting across expense management, aged receivables, and overdue payablesFinalise AP/AR general ledger accounts, reviewing monthly with the Financial ControllerProvide input into monthly cash flow forecastingPrepare weekly and monthly payment runsSupervise supplier statement reconciliations, customer accounts and bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for FC reviewSupport ongoing improvements to the internal controls environmentPrepare and file quarterly VAT returnsCreate and maintain up-to-date finance process manualsOwn and manage the debit note processAbout YouWe're looking for a dynamic finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment:Experienced and ideally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred)Background in consumer product, FMCG, or product-led environments is desirableStrong technical grounding with a process-driven mindsetPassionate about systems, automation, and efficiencyComfortable influencing senior stakeholders with clarity and confidenceDetail-focused, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solvingStrong Excel skills (intermediate or advanced)Able to work under pressure to tight deadlinesSage experience is advantageous
