Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026.About the roleYear 1 Teacher – Permanent (Full-Time)Location: EalingStart Date: January 2026As the Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and structured lessons that build on pupils’ early learning experiences. You will support children’s academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring a smooth transition into Key Stage 1. The role requires a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and a nurturing yet structured approach to classroom practice.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculumSupporting pupils’ transition from EYFS to Year 1Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progressCreating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environmentWorking closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parentsContributing to wider school life and developmentAbout the schoolThe school is a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ealing, known for its positive ethos and strong community values.
