Job DescriptionBarker Ross are Recruiting - Skilled Utilities Groundworker (Water Mains)Location: UK-wide projects Start Date: January 2026 Pay: £20-£21 per hour (depending on experience)Barker Ross are seeking a Skilled Utilities Groundworker to support teams installing new water mains and associated civils works. This role requires candidates with strong utilities experience and multiple industry tickets.Required Qualifications & Tickets:EUSR Safe Dig (Cat 1 & 2)Blue CardSHEANRSWA StreetworksConfined SpaceBanksman / Signaller / Slinger(Dumper/Digger ticket or Moling experience is advantageous but not essential)Duties Include:Supporting the installation and connection of water mainsAssisting with excavation, trenching and reinstatementWorking safely in confined spaces when requiredUsing abrasive wheels and tools correctlyMaintaining safe working zones around plantSupporting the Team Leader and machine operatorsWhat We Offer:Competitive payWeekly payrollLong-term work into 202624/7 supportHit Apply nowBarker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
