We are also all about balance so most of our jobs offer the opportunity for hybrid working built around your role and home life, wherever possible.What You Will DoAs the Regulatory Reporting Policy Manager, you are primarily responsible for supporting the Regulatory Reporting team and the business in understanding the upcoming regulatory policy developments and the associated risks for their areas. This includes keeping abreast of upcoming regulatory changes and assessing/delivering the associated requirements for Metro Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Bank complies with all applicable regulations and protects our customers and you will play an integral role in the regulatory reporting delivery mechanisms. Keep abreast of regulatory policy developments Support the regulatory reporting team and business in understanding all upcoming regulatory policy developments and the associated risks for their area Support projects relating to Regulatory Reporting, such as Basel 3.1 Produce reports and present to senior leaders as required Provide rule interpretation and technical expertise to various functions across the bank, including with respect to the treatment of new products Perform an ongoing assessment of the bank's RWA and liquidity treatments; identify potential weaknesses Develop and maintain policy materials and memos addressing key interpretive mattersAnd... we are a bank so risk is a part of everything we do. We love people who take responsibility, do the right thing for customers, colleagues and Metro Bank and have the ability to call out any concerns.What You Will Need Knowledge and experience of interpreting and understanding UK prudential regulatory policy Working knowledge of the UK banking capital and liquidity rules Experience of analysing explaining policy changes and their impacts to senior management Experience of providing practical and pragmatic support and guidance to in relation to regulatory policy matters Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to interact with stakeholders at a variety of levels Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders Our promise to you...
